Kenneth C. Gilbert

 

Kenneth C. Gilbert, is Professor and Department Head of the Department of Statistics, Operations and Management Science at The University of Tennessee. His research interests are focused in the area of Supply Chain Modeling as applied to production planning and scheduling.

He has applied his methods with numerous organizations, has published in the leading academic journals and contributed to several books. He is the recipient of U.T.'s Keally Award for Outstanding Teaching, the Chancellor’s award for excellence in development of the MBA curriculum and the Richard Sanders award for leadership in executive education.

Ken received a B.S. in Mathematics from Berea College, an M.S. in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Management Science from The University of Tennessee.
