Gary B. Roberts

 

Gary B. Roberts is a Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, Michael J. Coles College of Business Administration, Kennesaw State University, Marietta, Georgia.  He is a former Assistant Professor of Management, College of Business Administration at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  He has taught and conducted research in strategic management, production management, and organizational behavior for various industries.  Gary has consulted with companies such as IBM, AT&T, McDonald’s and first Georgia Bank.

He is a member of the Academy of Management and the Southern Management Association.  Gary holds a MBA in Finance and Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Georgia State University and B.A. in History from Bowdoin College.

He has been a Sam Walton Free Enterprise Fellow since 1985.  He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a distinguished ROTC Military graduate.  Dr. Roberts is a decorated Vietnam and Desert Storm veteran, and a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserves.
